Logic dog food Nature's Logic Dog Food | Review and Rating This food is new, and sounds really good. There are no ingredients highlighted in red in the dog food advisor! I bought the sardine kibble; Ian will have three kibbles along with his other kibble tonight. I still feed him Solid Gold mixed with Wellness Core low fat, and will slowly mix in the Logic. Eventually I will probably drop one of the other kibble. I got a 5 lb. bag for $17.00. Have you heard of this product? |
Nature's Logic isn't new. Tbh, I don't know much about it except that it was started by someone who broke off from Nature's Variety. Some of the foods are fairly high in calcium. All of their dry foods are 2.123% calcium and well over 5.5 g. ca. per 1,000 kcal. Not necessarily something I'd be comfortable with. On the plus, it is the only dry food that does not utilize synthetic vitamins and minerals. But I've never heard anything 'dangerous' about the food or anything... |

I used to feed my guys NL canned food & kibble...they did not do well on it. I could tell they were not bc their poopie would ALWAYS be soft. Have no idea what didn't agree w/them but they've tried the sardine & lamb. In another forum (Maltese), same result, soft poopies. Really wanted to like this food but it didn't work out for us. |
This food has been around for years - and it's a really great food! It's one of the few foods recommended by what is that site.....the Dog Food Project / Susan Thixton...? |

Now that I think about it, I think it was the canned food that they didn't do well on...kibble was ok, hope Ian does excellent on it! The kibble is really tiny, perfect for widdle yorkie mouths! |

Ian didn't do well on it, he loved it, but kept throwing up within an hour of eating. I would give him about four of the Logic sardine kibbles with his Wellness Core and Solid Gold kibbles. I returned it. |
[QUOTE=Wylie's Mom;4436548]This food has been around for years - and it's a really great food! It's one of the few foods recommended by what is that site.....the Dog Food Project / Susan Thixton...?[/QUO Farmina N&D is on that list, "The Most Trusted List", and it is substantially better than Nature's Logic. I have used both, and Farmina is vastly superior. In fact, I don't think there is a better dry food available right now than Farmina N&D. The mineral content, like calcium, in NL tells me the protein ingredients are very low quality. This is not something the average consumer will pick up on. |
