Zeutering? My dog is over a year old and still has his "business" because he can't go under anesthesia. I heard about Zeutering when it was first tested on some shelter pups a little while back and haven't seen anything negative about it yet. I want to neuter Piyo but since he can't go under I know this is the next best option, before I inject him with anything; has anyone had any experiences with zeutering?? |

I was hoping someone could give feedback on whether they had had a positive or negative experience with this new procedure. |
My aunts dog had liver issues they eventually did her spay but flushed her liver after maybe that is something they could do. Have you looked into a specialist? |
I did some reading up, and Zeuterin is still only FDA approved for puppies aged 3 to 10 months. I read an article where the company that makes it is trying to get approval for dogs of all ages, but that hasn't happened yet. If you go to the manufacturer's web page, you will find lots of information. Apparently, the risk of adverse events is less than for traditional castration.
