Lysol Bleach Spray Hi Everyone - my 4.5 baby yorkie - he's almost 4 months - grabbed a paper towel out of trash that I had just wiped up some lysol bleach spray with. He shredded the paper before I got to him, but he typically doesn't swallow the paper - he just likes to shred it. However, I am concerned about the lysol getting in his mouth. He seems fine, I gave him water, but am just worried. The paper towel wasn't saturated with it, just a little wet. Any advice? He gets into everything and I am typically very careful. I was emptying the trash right after I was done, but he is so fast. |
I'm sure he will be fine. But the are fast and sneaky so you need to keep your eyes on him all the time |
I'd call the vet to be sure... Lysol is a bit toxic. |
Hope he is ok. One thing I learned when Callie was a pup is every trash can has to have a lid! They don't anymore but she loved shreading any type of paper when she was a pup and generally all trash cans are full or stuff that can hurt these little ones. |
I had 3 yorkies all past, now have a 3 y/o, they are all paper shredders. The should make t-shirts that read BORN TO SHRED. Ya gotta love them lil yorkies. But I would call the vet. |
