Need new soft food help Seems our new baby boy cannot have kibble anymore.. if its not one thing its another with these babies.. So.. I have to switch to a canned food (thinking about making my own but i dont know if I can right now).. So he is on the prescrip ID food - bland... so I need to transition him to a EVERYDAY brand... i know not to do it too fast.. their sensitive tummies Any suggestions from experience on a good.. HEALTHY canned food I can start changing him to... PS.. not shocking.. he seems to be another picky eater jnet and cooper |
have you tried stella and chewy's they have pre made raw and pre made freeze dried raw.....mine are super picky and were on bil jac and they are so in love with this food i am slowly switching them ova. this is a healthy alternative to kibble and the bowl is licked clean. it is soft so you dont need to worry about giving a can food per say...this has all the nutrients and vitamins they need. |
My kudos are on NATURES DIET they love it, it's more like home dinners , amazon do good deals |
My boys LOVE Weruva and Tiki Dog canned food :) |
Since he's on RX ID food, I'm thinking he needs something low in fat? Like Schooby mentioned, Weruva is a very good canned food, looks like real food. I also like The Honest Kitchen, it's a dehydrated food which you add warm water to rehydrate it. The food is all ground up, so it's considered a soft food. Grandma Lucy's is a freeze dried food, my guys love it (except Mimi, she gets party animal canned food)...they've been eating it for about a week now so can't really tell you how it is, but they love it. It's kind of like oatmeal, warm soft blob gooey, perfect for winter! You can order sample sizes from their site. |

Mine love the Weruva. It so pricey but they have done very well on it. In more eye discharge either. The cheapest price I've found is on amazon with free shipping. |
Another vote for Weruva! We also feed a lot of TikiDog. They're both high quality foods and are lower in fat than other canned foods I've looked at. The ingredients list is also pretty simple. |
