Do's/Don't to kitchen foods??? I would love to know what treats or fresh foods you give for healthy diet and treats as well. I hope my pups like veggies & fruit.! |
Uni loves fruits and veggies! Tomato cucumber stems of lettuce celery (yuck for me, but make sure you peel the strings off!) apple (without skin, she doesn't like it) watermelon mango avocado (there are debates on whether or not dogs can have but Uni has had no ill effect) Boiled egg whites Greek yogurt Cottage cheese Boiled chicken (no skin, fat or seasonings) Remember in moderation! :) Seems like the sweeter fruits are more liked, and the more sour ones aren't, such as blueberry, strawberry, etc And remember, NO onion, green onion, shallots, grapes, raisins, garlic (garlic is also debated) |
Callie loves banana, carrots, apple, blueberry, strawberry, peas, green beans, and yogurt I think she liked mango but I can not remember its not one of the ones we have a lot. I don't give her a lot just a little. |
Great to know. Its always a good idea to be informed of the able and unable to be fed foods. Just in case! |
Fruits / Veggies Remy loves: Oranges (with membrane removed) - this is one of his absolute favs Blueberries (only if very sweet and smooshed) Apples (skin removed) Carrots Green beans Proteins He loves fish: Grouper, Halibut, Flounder, Snapper Chicken (organic, anti-biotic free - I usually buy him "SMART Chicken") He will eat red meat and loves it (beef, bison, lamb) but I do not offer it to him all that frequently. Fage Greek yogurt (plain, non-fat) |
Im excited about giving these a go. After the main food is transitioned to. I love sharing my snacks. Hopefully it will want me to eat healthier too.! Not too often. Although Im happy this is a good alternative to everyday food. Or should I say in combination. |
