Tearing too much? 1 Attachment(s) This may be a stupid question (you'll probably be getting a lot of those from me!) but I just want to make sure everything is 100% OK with Cherry. Anyway, under Cherry's eyes seems to always be wet. I tried to take a picture, but she wasn't thrilled with that, so it's a bit blurry. I know yorkies tear more than some dogs, but under her eyes seems fairly wet all the time. It wasn't like this before, maybe just the past few days? Is this normal? I didn't think to ask the vet on Saturday, but then again, she didn't say anything about it either. |
It could be something in her diet. I know my Tinkerbell tears more if she eats foods with grains. |
Could be hair sticking in her eyes. When Max was a pup and his hair was growing out, he often had a wet face from hair in his eyes. It was a constant battle getting the hair to lay down. There are many other causes too, including seasonal allergies. |
This is a young puppy, correct? If yes, then I might chalk it up to teething as their eyes can get a bit watery during teething times. |
