Ummm...sorry - that's 6-7 months, 4 pounds (not four months! LOL) Diana and Scooby |
CANINE digestive enzymes are probably needed. Just a suggestion: do some reading online about it and then go with the one you think best. I am doing this myself right now. I did not know about this until I watched a Utube video by Dr. Karen Becker. Very important for all of our sweet babies because they are domesticated. Instant mashed potatoes can also help some dogs with diarrhea. I have used them and the pumpkin puree and they worked. I'm also reading "The Whole Pet Diet" by Andi Brown and so far am liking it very much. There is much information and knowledge in it and I'm very glad I bought it. Wishing you and your darling Yorkie good health. :) |

Diana and Scooby If anyone knows anything about this Giardia stuff, could you fill me in? |
my westie, from day 1 we got him, he is always giving soft loose poo, diarrhea? we tried almost all the brands in the market and nothing works except taste of the wild and Fromm. even tried, digestive enzyme, pre-biotic and pro-biotic paste/supplements of most trusted brands. In the end we realized that the dog is not receptive to high protein diets. any kibbles/treats having above 30% protein in the content, his poo goes loose. hope it helps. |
