I'm going to change her name to Stinkerbell! OMG, Cali has had the most awful gas the past couple of weeks. We haven't switched her food (she's on Eukanuba like her foster mom had her on). I'm not sure what's causing it. I've been trying to get her to slow down how quickly she eats, but it hasn't helped. Her stools are small, firm and don't stink. I'm at a loss as to what I should be doing for her. I'll talk to the vet at her next checkup in 2 weeks. Until then does anyone have any suggestions? This little girl can clear a couch quickly! |
I wonder if dogs can take baby mylicon gas drops? If she's pooting that much, her tummy may hurt, too. It wouldn't hurt to ask. |
Has she changed foods? Has she been getting new treats? Gosh the silent but deadly are awful...I'm so stinking sorry.... |
I'd try Probiotics or switch foods... Stinkerbell... that's my Tinkerbell's nickname! LOL! |

Stinkerbell, lol. Very cute. Teddy can produce some stinky gas. I'm sure most people would recommend a diet change, but the food he has eaten for the last 3 years works for him in every other regard. I think it is his nerves because it always happens when he is excited or anxious for something. He is a confident little guy, but a little anxious at the same time. I hope you can find the answer for Cali. |

Could be that the gas is building up during anxious moments, and she releases it when she relaxes on the couch. I'm not familiar with probiotic brand you bought. I'll be interested in hearing if it helps her. We used to feed yogurt, but we quit and I don't think Teddy can handle the dairy anymore. I would like to try a probiotic supplement. |
chester is bad as well sometimes, how can a little guy clear a room |
Flatulence is common problem and mostly the reason behind this problem is swallowing large amounts of air while eating. Their are may probiotic that help like bifidus and acidophilus. Please take good care over the diet as well as eating schedule and excercising. |
