Cataracts...... I am cautiously opptomistic about some drops another member had discussed on this forum, drops her vet had recommended. I got some of those drops and have been using them 3x's a day, for 3 weeks. It says 6-8 weeks to notice any improvment....but by golly, I think this stuff is acually making a difference. I am going to continuing using the drops and will be writing about the results on my baby's cataracs.....Probably will write a review on the results in the middle of September....that will certainly be long enough to see a change if there is going to be any! But I have to say, I am a little bit excited about this stuff! I dont want to say what they are, because I would hate for anyone to rush and buy some, if they are NOT working and it is my imagination, willing this baby's eyes to get better! |
I am very happy for your baby and you that the drops are showing great promise. Looking forward to hearing your review later this year. The drops are used instead of surgery? |
Yes....and you know all the information about how there is NO WAY drops are capable of replacing surgery....this pet can not go under the knife and I want to try anything that could even possibly work even a little bit. |
For your baby's sake, I hope they help. And if so, I'm filing the information away in case Tibbe should ever have this set of circumstances. I can't see how medicine can de-cloud a cataract or however the drug works if they are like human cataracts but odder things have happened in life I imagine. Are cataracts always inherited? |
I hope they help your baby. My little angel, Ashley, developed cataracts at the age of sixteen. She could still see, but they affected her vision somewhat. I didn't want her to have surgery, but my husband would have had the surgery for her in a second if our vet hadn't compassionately told us to just enjoy her and stop worrying. I am anxious to read your review of these drops. |
