My yorkie is 8 months old. So you mean, I should give up my Yorkie just because of undescended testis???Hello!!!!! |
no...no...no...she is saying that if you have a boy with a undescended testicle or one that is late in descending that the boy should not then be used in any sort of breeding program down the road. They still are great companion pets! |

Sorry I am as clear as mud sometimes when I post. If you bought you baby for breeding you may have a problem. Note I said may. If you have a warranty you should let the breeder know you are having some problems with the testicles not descending. If you bought this baby for a pet then you have NO PROBLEM. When your vet feels the time is right just have him neutered. You vet can do a exam to feel for those little pearls. Many of us have massaged our little men when we have a testicle that floats in a effort to get it to stay in the scrotum. You can not show a male with no testicles or one testicle. If a guy pulls a testicle in the ring you will be excused. Three excuses for this and your kid can never be shown again. Hope that I made myself a clearer for you. |
