Fortiflora FortiFloraŽ Canine Nutritional Supplements | Purina Veterinary Diets Yes or no? Other options? My dog still has diarreaha, its been 10 days since she started with it. It is slowing down but she still has it none the less. the vet had me mixing this in her food for the first 5 days of her illness, Vet tech said it was ok to continue it. Advice Please? |
If I were in your situation, I would continue it. |
did you try pure pumpkin? When Jess had it Peanuts mom told me to try it and bam it was gone.. |
I've heard the pure pumpkin works too. I haven't had to use it but have it on hand, just in case. Good luck and please keep us updates on how things are going. Sending prayers! |
My Luci uses this daily. She get's a 1/8 teaspoon a day. |
I use Bactaquin for Katie I originally got it from Dr. Fosters and Smith free when I purchased Cosequin, but now I get it from Costco.com. At the moment, its no longer available there. There are many other effective probiotics to buy that are more cost effective than FortiFlora. I've read on this forum that Dogzymes Probiotics Max are good. Nature's Farmacy - Store - Product Details Pet Probiotics | Probiotics for Dogs & Cats - Mercola.com |
thank you all. :). I got some more through my vets. She doesnt like it much so I have to hid it super well in her food but Im hoping it will help, firm her up some. If not I will try the pumpkin. |
If you can, try to find a better probiotic...forti flora contains 'animal digest' which can come from rendered dead/ dying/ diseased/ disabled animals (4-D's). |
