Doggy popsicles?? Anyone have a suggestion as to what to put in a doggy popsicle? It gets really hot here and my kids eat them like crazy, so I wanted to make some for Jess. I didnt want to give her the sugar free pops I give them...thought it be fun if it was tasty too.. |
My Ralphie loves plain old ice cubes, but you could try freezing some chicken broth if your dog is more of a gourmet. Use broth without any salt add and defat the broth. You are correct in not using artificial sweeteners, they can be deadly to dog. Remember that dogs don’t taste with their taste buds, they taste with their nose, so if something smells good to them, they will eat it. |
How about some unseasoned chicken broth or chicken stock? |
I do chicken broth and put like pieces of carrots and green beans in it. |
Canned organic pumpkin or plain yogurt freeze well too. |
