Grandma Lucy's??? I have been home cooking for Valentino for a couple of weeks now since he wouldn't eat kibble and had a bad infection with raw. I've been thinking of introducing kibble to his diet again and while at the pet store I asked for some samples of kibble and they gave me a few samples of Fromm. When I mentioned I was homecooking she also gave me a sample of Grandma Lucy's Artisan pre-mix, which is fruits, vegetables and vitamins you add water to rehydrate and then mix it with the meat you are using. Has anyone used this before? It sounds nutritious but I wanted others opinions on it |
I personally have never heard of this, but I am bumping this thread up in the hopes that some or our more seasoned members will be able to help you out. |
Thanks Jacksmom!! I think I'm gna hold off on the Grandma Lucy's and just stick to the samples of Fromm. He really liked the Fromm game bird recipe and he's usually never interested in kibble :) |
I've been feeding Grandma Lucy's (the chicken one normally) to the boys for breakfast with their kibble for a couple years now, and they still love it! It's pretty easy to use while traveling too :) |

I use it occasionally as a topper with mine or Dr. Tim's if the store is out of THK. Mine eat FROMM 4 star kibbles. |
It will be cheaper if you steam your own veggies to add to beef. ;) I never get tired of cooking for my girls and they gobble every meal and are so healthy. |
