What do you use to clean and sanitize wood floors that is safe for my puppy? Hi guys, My girls potty training this week is going very well. My condo is all wood floors and I was wondering what you use to clean and sanitize your floor? I know to stay away from anything that has ammonia and have been using vinegar diluted with water. What do you think of this? Do you have any other suggestions that is safe for puppies? Jackie :) |
I use vinegar as well....curious to see what others use. Welcome to YT! |
White vinegar and water is a great cleaner and very safe, by the way, never us ammonia on wood, even if there aren't any dogs around. I do use other cleaners as well, Bona wood floor cleaner, and sometimes I use Nature’s Miracle! My grand dogs are males too, and well, you know boys will be boys. |
50/50 solution of vineger to water in a spray bottle for spot cleaning, and I mop with a bucket of warm water and a cup of vinegar (and a really ringed out mop!) |
vinegar and water the safest |
I use vinegar and water in a spray bottle and damp mop it. The guy that installed my wood floors said never use anything but a damp mop to spot clean. |
Thanks guys... I will continue to use water and vinegar too :0) |
