How Many Bags? I am curious because I know most Yorkies don't eat much.I'm thinking the norm would be about 1month or 1.5 months for a 8 pound bag . How long does it take for your bundle of fur to go through a bag? To keep things in perspective please include: How many yorkies you have, how much your yorkie weighs, and how big is the bag (8 pounds, 20 pounds). Thanks!:D |
I see people peeking, does anyone have any answers? |
I haven't really kept track... I buy the 15 pound bag and it lasts over a month. I don't know exactly how long though. |
hi , for oscar a 5 pound bag lasts about 6 weeks... |
A 5 lb bag will last us 6-7 weeks. Toki gets a little less than 1/2 cup each day. |
Macy weighs a little under 6 lbs. and eats about 3/4 to 1 cup a day. She goes through a 5 lb. bag in about 5 weeks. |
A 4lb bag lasts us about a month with 2 yorkies (12 and 6lbs). They also get some Grandma Lucy's (in the am) and wet (pm) with their kibble though. |
Sorry I can't really help. My dogs go through an 8.8 lb bag in about 9-10 days. But, I also have 4 dogs; 2 yorkies, a maltese, and a yellow labrador. |
Teeka went through a 2 1/2 bag in about 6-7 weeks. That is feeding her 1/3 cup daily. She is 5 months of age and weights almost 3 lbs! |
Riley goes through a 5 lb bag in about 6-7 weeks. He gets a little less than 1/2 cup each day. |
Honey 5 pound bag can last us almost two months but I do mix her food with soft dog food. Im not sure how much she weights but I know it is 5 pounds or less |
Thanks everyone for your input. It helps me put everything into perspective. |
