Natural Balance. L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets Legume & Duck Meal Dry Dog Formula - Natural Balance Pet Foods Anyone try this formula yet? Tried it with Tuck and he likes it. Looking for opinions. I think lamb is causing his stomach issues. He cant have corn, chicken or red meat( makes him gassy). He wont eat a fish based diet so that doesn't leave much left. :/ and its both low in fat/protein which is also must. Thanks, Terri and the Tuck man.. |
I give mine Natural Balance duck and sweet potato small bites. I have two that get pancreatitis very easy but they both do well on this. |
I have never tried Natural Balance but have always thought about trying it. I think it is a good food. Riley had some sort of reaction to Lamb and it was Awful!!!!!! I found and decided to tried Grain Free Canine Caviar. He has been eating it since Aug. 2nd and he absolutely Loooooves it!! He ate the Wild Ocean... for a couple of months... Then had some Open Sky [which is Duck based...]and I just started him on Wilderness [which is Venison based...] this past Friday night which he is doing GREAT on as well!! :D The Wilderness has a little Lamb Fat, so I was nervous to try it, but after consulting with a couple of people I was told this: When an animal is allergic to a protein, it’s allergic to the amino acid profile that the meat contains. Since fat doesn’t contain amino acids, there is no allergic reaction. http://mycaninecaviar.com/ |
Have you looked at the Fromm Duck & Sweet Potato? Duck & Sweet Potato dog food - Fromm Family Foods It says "Duck with sweet potatoes, cranberries, carrots, green beans, and other fresh produce. An excellent primary-source protein alternative for dogs with protein sensitivities." My boys LOVE this flavor! |
My Yorkie eats this brand, but the lamb one. I can't find it here locally and order online. I order the small breed bits and now and then I get the larger kibbles, but it still is the same formula. Anyone have this issue~? |
Thanks everyone.. I will look into CC and Fromm's too. My biggest concern with Tucker is that it needs to be low in fat and protein.. |
