Many allergies that effect the skin will end up showing signs of dermatitis. The skin could show a rash or dry patches or a combination. A steroid shot will stop the onslaught of the itching and dermatitis but if the allergen is not dealt with the symptoms will return. If you want real relief for your dog and don't want it to have to be on medications all the time it is best to pinpoint the allergen and eliminate it. |
