Dog Food/The Eternal Quest After purchasing the latest copy of Modern Dog, I noticed an ad on the first page. It was a long, copy-heavy important looking (which I'm a sucker for) ad for the Robert Abady Dog Food Company, out of New York. Now, has ANYBODY here ever heard of this food, or fed it to their yorks? It is rather pricey, and there are several different formulas (kibble, granulated, canned, etc.) to choose from. Just wondering, and wanting a review, if anyone has an opinion. |
How much does this food cost? I will admit; the ingredients aren't too bad. But I have seen better. I see one of the formula's first ingredients is by products. But the others start with chicken meal. Not a big fan of the rice as the second ingredient, and fish is not a good ingredient in our pet's foods. It is high in salt and mercury. Everyone has their own opinions on their choice of food; but I reccomend Wellness CORE and Blue Buffalo Wilderness, grain free, by product free, and no artifical colors/preservatives. I feed wellness and blue to all my dogs and cats. :D |
Love the title of the thread...sorry i got nothing to add I'm still light years away from conquering this same quest....:D:p |
