Oscar is a superfast little scavenger i was making myself lunch yesterday. a casserole consisting of patato chunks with cheese sauce... i took it out of the microwave and prompley dropped it on the floor. quicker than i could blink oscar started scoffing up the patatos. yikes, i grabbed him and locked him out of the kitchen and cleaned up the mess. the whole time thinking , oh my poor baby is going to have serious diarrhea over this one.. not more than 5 minutes later he starts vomiting. Up comes the patato chunks and all of his breakfast. Poor baby... it was a relief really , at least now he won't get diarrhea.. he did get another meal about an hour later..... |
Yikes is right! Poor baby, is he ok now? |
I am glad Oscar is ok. They are so quick! |
yep , he is fine thanks. from now on he will be locked out of the kitchen while i cook... |
Poor guy - does he have a sensitive tummy to begin with? Thank goodness Jackson doesn't, he is the ultimate scavenger. He finds food SO fast, it's ridiculous. I would be a worrying mess if he threw up every time he got a little something. I'm glad Oscar is okay. :) |
oh yes , oscar has a very sensitive tummy. he gets 1/2 cup kibble and 1 biscuit per day and that is it. anything more or other than that and diarrhea.. |
Sounds like Morgan I am glad that Oscar is feeling better |
I have two kinds of food for my guys, and leave it out 24/7. They eat Beneful for breakfast (4am), Welness for dinner (4pm), and will eat an interim snack occasionally. I always have lots of treats (Bully/Greenie/Biscuit/other) laying around for them to snack on at their leisure. I think that the reason neither of mine have a food "obsession" like many dogs do, is because of the 24/7 availability. They never have diarrhea. |
Poor little guy- I am sure if you asked him (and he was able to talk) he would say it was worth it LOL :D Peanut is my little vacuum as well... I bought a little gate thing at CVS and put it at the opening of the kitchen so he isnt in there cleaning up shop!! :D |
yes he probably would say it was worth it.. and he also will be locked out of the kitchen from now on ... |
