Back from the vet with Becky We got back from the vet , they are just as stumped about her situation not eating vomiting only kibble etc...... so they did blood work complete pancreas also , gave me panacur for worms they wanted a stool sample i did not want to wait to go back , they gave famotidine and they told me she is a bit thin so they put her on royal canin gastro high energy lots of calories and told me to give her nutrical 3 times a day ....and if she does not eat her kibble to give hjer anything aslong as she eats so i cooked chicken breast with rice and soome carrots inside separated it in baggies along with the nutri cal she should get what she needs i will also add some baby apple food during her meals ........ they told its fine also ....... now we are waiting results should be in tonight and pancreas tomorrow .... im so worried sick i have a feeling i will not get good news from having a huge appetite to being like this not right at all ...and i feel awful for tough loving her with the food :( aksm4 |

Dont be hard on yourself you got her to the vet and now you will know for sure if something medically is causing the inappetiteand if its not then you can g o from there. Im glad your vet gave you the prescription food to try and nutrical to give. v |
Aw, poor little girl:( It sounds like you're doing everything possible to get her better. Has she been pooping normally? If not, that could be a sign of some kind of obstruction. I hope that the vet can figure it out and get her on the road to health quickly! |
Yes she has been pooping not as much as before but pooping ....... |
I'd mention the decrease in poop to the vet. He may want to check her over again and make sure that she doesn't have a blockage of some sort Even a partial blockage would be damaging if left too long. Sending prayers for your baby to get better quickly!!!:hands: |
Hello everyone , just an update on my little princess she since last night started to eat her kibble and toiday ate her breakfast to ( kibble) , i pray she continues to go back to her old self again , she was never fussy or picky and since last night kind of looks like herself again :)))))) i pray dear god that this is behind us ..... aksm4 |
