Has anyone tried the Blue buffalo dental chews? The only dental related stuff we do for the dogs is teeth brushing everyday. I'd really like to add something else to help with their teeth. I know not to give them greenies, but would the blue buffalo dental chews be any better? BLue Buffalo Bones all natural dental chews any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thanks! |
I got a bag of these a while back for Toki and she really loved them! I stopped giving them to her though because she ended up throwing up a big blob that she didn't chew very well and it worried me! If your pups will actually take the time to chew the bones into little pieces and eat them slowly, I'd go for it. I just found a $3 off coupon (they are ridiculously over-priced IMO) in the paper and was seriously reconsidering buying them in a larger size (the small instead of the mini ones) to prevent Toki from just swallowing hunks. They did make her breath smell good and she enjoyed them while I gave them to her! |
HMMM how have I missed these? I will have to look at them the next time I am in the petstore. |
We tried them and Callie would not eat them but maybe yours will like them. |
There are 5 furbabies here. Somebody is bound to like them. However if one of them has a problem or doesnt care for them, then I wont purchase them a second time. The favorites around here are carrots and sweetpotatoe chews. |
From the pictures and the ingredients, they remind me of Zukes , except the Zukes are grain-free. I like the idea of the glucosamine in there, been thinking about putting Luna on that for her knees. The vet said it wouldn't help, but I think it would. Anyway, let us know if your babies like them. How much are they, anyway, the site didn't have any prices. The Zukes are crazy expensive, $15 for a bag of 15 mini size. |
