MotionEase Motion Sickness Relief Has anyone tried Motioneaze topical drops on their Yorkie for motion sickness? I've tried a jelly bean prior to riding in the car, ginger cookies, open windows for air, car booster seat so he can face forward. Buddy doesn't appear stressed, I just think the motion makes him sick. The vet recommended Bendadryl drops (assuming the cause was stress-related), but I don't want to sedate him. I take him to obedience classes and I don't think he would do good in that condition. |
I have one girl that gets horrible carsickness. The vet suggested dramamine and it doesn't help. I can't make it 2 miles without her getting sick. Cars can be seen parked from the front and back door either ours or the neighbors and she gets anxious when she goes outside she looks at the cars like they are things that make her sick. |
Callie gets car sick and I tried everything with her and then someone told me hydroxyzine a medicine Callie has to use when her she as allergy itchiness could be used for motion sickness and it works wonderfully and doesn't knock her out. There are a few prescription meds your vet can give you to help with motion sickness and some don't sedated your dog. I would really talk to you vet about prescribing something. |
I have spoken with the vet. When I took her in they could see she was horribly sick from the car and was still getting sick. There is a mediction that can be prescribed for car sickness and I wanted to know about getting her something. That was when he said to use the dramamine. He said the medications used for car sickness he would not prescribe for her because of the side effects were just not worth it. (she is healthy no health issues). |
