Anyone feed Nature's Variety Instinct with Raw Boost. Hi everyone, just started Sheldon on this this morning and was wondering if anyone else here feed this to their dogs. Thanks! Btw got a $4 off coupon from NV email and Petco has a $2 off sale right now. I ended up paying $13.99 for the bag. |
Let us know how Sheldon does on this! I contacted NV and got a sample pack of the chicken raw boost kibble...it seemed like there was a good ratio of freeze-dried chicken to kibble which I was pleased with! I was considering adding this kibble into our rotation at some point :) |

i just went back to Natures Variety Frozen Raw. |
I will let you know. I wante to star him on the raw when I got back from vaca but since the new food is chicken I don't want to have him in two different foods in case of a reaction. |
Just started using this food as well!!! Mine are on the NV frozen raw and decided to sub this for the their evening meal!! Day 4 ...no issues!!!!:excited: |
So far no issues here either, he loves the food too. Before he used to get excited about his breakfast but as soon as I put the food down he would sniff it and then leave it and come back minutes later to eat it. Now is a different story, he eats is right away. |
i feed morgan that and he loves it// no issues |
hi i started Minnie on it about two weeks ago. so far so good. she actually finishes it. before this i was feeding wellness puppy and she would eat it but only when she was really hungry. so about 1/4 of a cup would last me about 3 days cause she would pick at it. now she actually eats everyday. I'm feeding her the duck meal with turkey version of the raw boost with kibble. i plan to alternate flavors to give her a variety and see how she does. but so far i'm happy with it. her stools are hard and not stinky. |
Well, as much as Sheldon loves the taste of the food I am pretty sure he is allergic to chicken, he has been so itchy and his eyes are watery all the time. I think I am going to. Switch him back to the NV LID turkey formula or maybe the turkey and duck raw boost. The only other thing i think could be causing this besides the chicken is the flaxseeds in the raw boost. |
