How often do you replace toothbrush? I always thoroughly rinse the toothbrushes after using them because they get so goopy (for lack of a better word) from the toothpaste. How often should they be completely replaced? Thanks :) |

For me just kinda depends how quickly the brush "wears out" so to say. Usually, I can use the brush through a tube of toothpaste and once I buy a new tube, I go ahead and buy a new brush as well. With the last toothbrush I just threw away, the bristles started getting really hard and stiff, even after wetting it so I knew it was time. It was just about the end of the toothpaste anyways so it happened to work out. |
The minute it begins to stiffen from age or the bristles start to change appearance such as getting crinkly or sticking out a bit. I find that the brushes start to harden pretty quickly so I probably replace Tibbe's every 2 - 3 months to be sure his gums aren't hurt. |
