I hand feed Jaeger-he'd eat off a spoon, fork, my fingers, the floor, a bowl if I let him, but he's a fast eater so I train him at meal times and hand feed him his dry food. If I give him something wet like pumpkin, its with a spoon. |
spoon or fork I give Graysee small portions of my oranges, or apples, or watermelon by fork. She is very careful, and daintily takes each offering, and scampers away, then comes back for a second helping. If I treat her with some remnant breakfast yogurt, she'll lick the spoon until the finish starts to come off!! :) |
I would not do it, simply because they would get use to it and want to be spoon fed all the time, lol. But Suzi is the worst, she stays right at our side when we eat, and waits until something drops. Nothing bad for her, I recently found out they both love melon! Any type. I be careful with grapes, they should not eat them. For meds i place the plll in a small treat and they gobble it right up, for liquid meds, I use a little bit of bread, place the liquid onto the bread, and yes, I've hand fed them . |
Great! So I left this YT thread on the pc and Derij reminded me I tried to feed Elvis a bite of ice cream at the Jacoby Store house last weekend when shopping on the plaza. Stay calm it was nonfat organic vanilla on a try it spoon too small for toddler feeding. Elvis ignored it anyways he was too busy guarding us from the herd of teengirls ohhh ahhing at him on my lap. I think he smiled at them Derik calls it snarling... |
