found this.....thought I would share... I know some of us don't like using chemicals on our furbabies....this is an alternative to chemicals....I use peppermint mixed with water for fleas...this solution helps with ticks as well.. Lemongrass Deters fleas and especially tick. According to Ohio State University. Lemongrass oil contains a pleasing citrus scent that is useful in controlling oily scalps and skin conditions, making it suitable for use on dogs with skin conditions in lotion, spray, soap and shampoo formulas. |

Thanks!! I dont have a problem with fleas or ticks, but I want to know how to do this incase I ever need to use something like this.....I bet it smells wonderful too!!! |
Plant it in your yard. The scent repels bugs. You can brush your hands and clothes against it,then brush your hands over the dogs fur. Or in pots-we have them near doors. Helps with mesquitoes too. |
