^ How do you know which one works the best? Lexi seems to eat any food I give her. I don't have to do any slow methods to switch her foods. I just got Lexi and am pretty new to all of this. I was originally feeding her Science Diet because her previous owners had fed her that and so I continued with it, but after reading on YT, it seems like you guys don't seem to like it? Why? I was giving her The Honest Kitchen because she's losing her baby teeth and can't seem to eat kibbles right now but she had a tiny throw up with it so I am not continuing with it. It's pretty expensive compared to the other foods too but so so messy... There's a local healthy pet store near my house and they recommended The Honest Kitchen, Acana and Wellness so should I switch to either Acana or Wellness? I prefer kibble rather than wet foods. Help please! Everyone is feeding their dogs all sorts of things I am so confused... Or Royal Caninn for yorkies? I've seen about that too... |
We went back to TOTW. Apparently, the recall was lifted. Pam |

I am loyal Royal Canin fan...........thank good ness I have never had any issues with RC with any of my babies, as I have tooo much going on to have to get all wound up in the confusion of "The Quest For the Perfect Food"! I am getting less and less able to multi task so a committment to "KISS" works best for me! |
The previous issue with diamond was pver chicken soup brand when they purchased it and with another from the newly aquired facilities, diamond actualy reported themselves or their newly purchased lines and facilities to the fda. it was a horrifying ordeal. Though |
I feed my 11 week old puppy Royal Canin #29 she loves it!!:D |
I always look at the ingredients. I feel like my yorkie does not handle grains at all so I prefer a grain free food. I am feeding canine caviar which my do loves, plus no bathroom issues, and no vomiting. It's a holistic food as well which I love. I also try to keep a close eye on fat and protein. I feel like she can't digest high fat or protein very well. I think hers is 16 percent fat and in the twentys for protein. Which is working for her. It's basically what works best for your dog I thought purina was working best but now that I switched foods and her bathrooms are normal, no vomiting, no gurgling stomach, and no runny eyes I realize it wasn't working for her at all. |
Mine are all on Fromm's and they love it. Right now the pups are on Evangers and they are doing good to. |
