baby teeth At what age should yorkies have their adult teeth? Also how can you tell if puppy is retaining baby teeth? Khloe is scheduled for spaying on May 25th . She will be 5 1/2 months old then. |
Im sure shes got a couple by now. If they have retained teeth you will see a second tooth in one spot. If they all dont come out by one yr they need to be taken out I just had mine done at the spay/neuter. They both had 4 removed. The vet gave them to me |
Thanks. I will try to look in that little mouth at those tiny razors.:) I know they are good and sharp. She chews up her chew toys and I have to throw them away so she wont eat the rubber. |
Grace is six months and has retained over 8 teeth. they wont fall out! the vet wants me to get them all pulled by him while she gets her spay... at $40 for each tooth! |

I am going to get Khloe some more chew toys and chew ropes any suggestions for a tough chewer. My girl is rough on chew toys. |
i just have to comment that before miles, i had never owned any puppies, only adult dogs.. and i was not aware that dogs had a set of baby teeth and adult teeth just like humans.. i was quite alarmed when the first one came out :yelrotflm anyway, he had most (if not all) of his adult teeth by the time he was 6 months old.. i only feed him kibble and most of them came out during his meals.. so i think the hard food helps |
