Azrael in the hospital, Jilli Ann needs another test! 2 Attachment(s) Azrael has a torn ligament and since she's bow legged, they have to cut a tiny section of bone out so they can align the ligament the correct way. I pick her up Thursday if all goes well. Jilli Ann has to go to a different hospital in Ventura for an advanced medical imaging where they put a small amount of radioactive dye into the portal vein and liver to see where it goes so we will know what type of shunt she has. So I called and ask if I could get her in Thursday morning because I have to go by there anyway when I go pick up Azrael. They are going to call me in the morning to let me know if they can get me in somehow, otherwise I have to go back down on Monday. (It's a 2 hour drive is the reason I'd like to have here seen before I pick Azrael up. This is Azrael with Dr. Bruecker who owns the VMSG hospital and will do the surgery, and a staff doctor, Daniel Frem. Then Jilli Ann with Dr. Ortega and a staff doctor, Stefanie Owczarczak. That place is so amazing. That's where Zada had her second surgery too. They spoil them silly. I'll let you know how things turn out for both of them. Prayers are always welcome. ;) |
Prayers going up! :) |
Keeping them both in my prayers. When Pixie had her LP surgery the surgeon took a little piece of bone out and pinned it. She has done fine with it. |

I take the two hour trip back down south tomorrow. First stop is at 8 am to have the imaging done on Jilli Ann, then on down to pick Azrael up. I'll be house bound with Azrael and she will need three more follow ups, and I don't know what's going to happen with Jilli Ann. Will let you know when I get back home tomorrow. All this plus I've had a biopsy done from a large lump on my neck which is skuamous cell and will go back the 22nd for surgery. A lot all at once to deal with. I wouldn't wish all of this on my worst enemy. :( |
