Teething Remedies? Anyone have good recs for teething? My little buddy just lost one of his large hind teeth i had to help tug it off because it was hanging. i can tell he's in pain poor guy.... I'm probably taking him to the vet next week too to check him out |
get a strip of fleece and tie a knot in the middle soak it with water put it in a baggie and freeze it, give it to your pup and let him chew on it, it works wonders, this is a remedy all my puppy parents and I have used lots of times.. hugs, |
Wow I needed this thread...my little girl is going through this now as well, woke up crying in pain last night and chewing on the corner of her litter box:eek: I gave her some crushed ice, she loved it. Are there any things we have to watch for when they are teething? My older girl had no problem with teething so this is new for me too. |

The frozen fleece knots work great! Abby(8 months) is finished teething but still considers it a treat when we pull one out of the freezer! |
Fleece does not unravel, just keep and eye for loose threads on cotton, a strip of t-shirt might work also...when my litter starts teething i give them a few frozen strips right away, and I also send a strip with instructions home with them...is also great, for the hot summer days, my gang loves chewing on the fleece knots in a hot summer day.. hugs, |
Ziggy is 5 months and is teething. I gave him a frozen piece of terry cloth and he chewed on it and wasn't so miserable for a while. He also has a very foul odor coming from his mouth? Some of his adult teeth have come in but not all of the baby teeth have come out yet. Could this have something to do with his bad breath? Any ideas of what I can do? |
