Puppy treats I hope this the right place to post this.Who makes the best puppy treats that can be used for training. Thanks everyone. |
i know chattiesmom makes the yorkie yummies - they are hard baked treats...and most like it..mine like soft treats and i just went to petsmart and got some 100% beef freezed dried liver and they like it...they also like puperoni....i have also made my own liver treats...i boiled it for about 20 mins then put into the oven on 250 for about an hour....so that it doesn't get so hard...since mine goes crazy for soft treats...and those were a hit also. |
I don't know if chattiesmom is making the treats right now. There are a few different natural treats on this page. I make my own chicken. Won't give her the garbage they sell in department stores and some pet stores. organic Dog Teats and organic Cat Treats |

The link I put above had some Stella and Chewy's dehydrated meat treats. They use only grass fed animals in their foods and it's a really great company. |
My two little guys love Zukes Mini Naturals (chicken, salmon, or Pbutter). Only 2 calories per piece, and they get 2 everytime they come in from outside! And believe me when I tell you they will ask for them everytime if I happen to forget to give them their treat! lol |

I use natural treats with very minimal ingredients. Mostly Freeze dried beef liver or lung. Right now i'm waiting on some new treats to try out in the mail Stella and Chewy's Carnivore Crunch, i heard pups go crazy for them :) |
The Zuke's Mini Naturals were our favorite training treats. The pups loved them. We even gave some to our neighbor to try for training their puppy. They are small, fairly soft, and the dogs love them. They liked the chicken ones best. Our other 'fall back' training treat was plain Cheerios. |
Mine like pupperoni. I know they dont have the greatest ingredients however mine wont eat very many treats. Those and yogurt drops are all they will eat |
