Her 'voice' seems very hoarse! ??? Can Yorkie's 'voices' get hoarse like people? My wife and I noticed a significant change in our yorkie's barking -- the sound is totally not what it's been and what we are used to. We've never heard anything like it. It sounds like she is hoarse, if there is a way to describe it. We noticed it after this weekend when we picked her up from the breeder. Does anyone know what this could be? We are thinking that maybe she was barking-barking-barking all weekend and somehow gave herself a sore throat. But, is this possible? Thoughts/comments please ... Thanks! |
I'm sorry no one has responded to you, I am just seeing your thread now.Yes they can get hoarse from barking too much. How is your baby now ? |

MODS: If you can move this thread, that may help! :) |
If she was kept in a cage and barked the whole time you were gone it is very possible her throat is sore. If it is not better in a couple of days I'd have her checked by the vet. |

And in the meantime, it might be worth melting some honey in a little hot water, leave it to cool a bit and then offer it as a drink....very soothing! :) Sally + Harry x |
Yea happens to Corky, when he has to put up for a while. After a while it comes back. Good luck! |
