If it makes you feel any better, Cricket just had hers done yesterday. She is eight years and her teeth all of them were covered with tarter. She did great! And her teeth look so nice. We keep telling her how pretty she is and she is prancing everywhere...good luck.

Couver should be getting his dental cleaning as we speak... and I'm at home cuddling Khloe and watching sappy youtube videos and crying... lol. I'm such a nut case. I will be calling in an hour or so to see if he's out. I just want to know that he's done and is okay. I get irrational when I have to leave my babies at the vet, but my vet is very understanding. He said he would do Couver's dental first this morning so that he could come home as soon as possible.

I won't ever be able to have kids with the level of anxiety I get over my puppies :p

You sound like a completely normal yorkie mommy to me. :) I told my vet's office that tranquilizers for the parents should be part of the protocol. :p

Looking forward to hearing Couver is home.

Couver got to come home at 2:30 and his teeth look great! They are completely white and look like puppy teeth again :) He was a little drowsy and glossy eyed, but ate some dinner and is now sleeping on my lap.

Thanks everyone for the comforting words. I'm glad I did it, and he is going to be back to himself tomorrow :)

* We had to run into Lowe's on our way home, and he was a trooper. He just took a nap in the cart.

Such a cute baby boy! Yay, I'm so happy the big day is over for both of you, and Couver has bright, white teeth again. :)

I'll call on both you to give me strength when my time comes....soon.

I am so glad everything went great:) I know I was so stressed when Jada had her dental and Bogie hasn't had to have one yet..luckily he doesn't get tartar as bad as Jada does:(

Just saw this, so glad that it's over and sweet Couver is back home. My gosh, he is a gorgeous little thing:). Oh yeah, he does look a little glassy eyed, not necessarily a bad thing;):D Hugs)) to the big fella, hehe

Thanks everyone. We are very happy he is home. We took Khloe to the dog park today and it just didn't feel the same without my boy.

Yay! So glad he is home and came out of it all good. Jackson milked it for what it was worth- he was such a whiner! Crying and whining and actually WANTING to be held for the first time in his life lol.

I just now found your thread back here. I feel bad that I completely missed it. I totally understand your anxiety, but it is in his best interest. I'm glad he is home now and sleeping it off. It's so nice to have him back, isn't it?:) That's such a sweet picture.
