bowel movement I've had my male Yorkie since Sunday and this morning was his first bowel movement (he has urinated). He is 3 months old, eating & drinking well, had a check up yesterday..he was given 2 booster shots and a de worming....we go back in three weeks. The vet said he is a perfect puppy. Should I be concerned that he is not pooping? Any advice /insight is greatly appreciatted. -Tamara |
I wouldnt worry about it if he doesnt have diahrea. Maybe he just got a little constipated from all the excitement of going to a new home. |
thank you for your prompt response...I think I am being extra paranoid-new mom and all :) |
are you sure he's not eating it.? |
wouldn't I see that? unless he is so diligent and completely ate the whole thing w/o leaving evidence... also-I would smell it no? on his breath? that never even crossed my mind...i hope it's not the case :( |
to tell yu the truth, lexi eats hers tooo, she has to, cause i know when i feed her in the morning and come home and no poop, i know she ate it... she had to..there is no way she didnt eat it.... it drives me insane... maybe your pup just doesnt have to go... |
