Apple Cider Vinigar Remedy for Dogs. hmm ? I came across this while searching for a solution to my dogs itchy problem. Which by the way is not due to fleas, I have check them over and over but still found nothing, but I still treated them just in case . So, even thou the problem has ended I want to have a solution ready for the next time it occurs in order to give them some much needed relief. I came across the Apple Cider Vinegar Remedy for Dogs. It is said to help with a variety of things but my concern is only with the itching. I am Wondering if anyone has tired this natural product for their dogs and if so what outcome did you get. DId it help ? Apple Cider Vinegar for Dogs |
My first question would be have you had them to the vet to evaluate the itching problem, especially since no fleas were identified? Yorkies are prone to seasonal allergies, as well as other breeds. Two of mine now have had seasonal allergies. Secondly, ACV applied to broken skin from scratching/eruption is going to have a burning sensation on the open skin. ACV cannot prevent muscle weakness. ACV will not help treat runny eyes, runny nose, and a productive cough. A vet should be consulted for those symptoms. Just a word of caution to "cures" that are boasted to cure a miriad of symptoms/diseases. This has been a ploy over time. |
I tried it for several months and it did not seem to work. |
I had a pup who came to me with an awful yeast infection on his entire body. He also did have a bacterial infection and was put on antibiotics. My vet recommended Selsun Blue shampoo 2-3 times weekly followed by a 50/50 vinegar and water rinse. He started clearing up within a little over a week...it was gradual, but obvious! I would not try any remedy without having my pup checked out and skin scraping if needed. I have posted pics on YT many times of his before and after...it was amazing! I really had thought he needed an anti fungal but he did not! Index of /cody |
