her dogtor is recommending that i decide on a food that is low in fat (less than 12%), moderate in fiber (8-17%), has highly digestable protein, and is low in sodium and low chloride. i am currently researching analysis of different foods that fit this guideline. she has been eating blue buffalo small breed chicken and brown rice formula previously for over a year. if anyone has had good results with a food matching this description, please let me know. of course, i plan on speaking with her dr before a definite choice is made. she is expecting me to call her in the next week with some options... thank you! |
