At the risk of sounding stupid. I don't understand the dog food review sites at all
 

Ok so this 6* food ingredients list starts out with:

I thought meal was bad? :confused: I also thought the first like three ingredients needed to be meat ? :bigeyes:

I want to feed my Jenks the best food available to me but it is all just a bit confusing.

When reading any of these sources, consider who writes them. Are they people who have studied animal nutrition?

The ingredients list on a pet food bag don't tell the whole story. Consider who manufacturers the food and who develops the recipe. Has the food been tested and proved to provide optimum nutrition?

I want to find a really good dry food that I can also get the same brand of wet food so I can mix a little wet in with the dry because Jenks does not like just dry food he likes the crunch but prefers wet food so I wanted to mix a little of both.
