Adult teeth growing in Hey everyone! First post for me and Chloe! My baby is 5 and a half months old and is starting to have her adult teeth grow in, but i'm worried because one of her adult teeth is kind of overlapping her baby tooth. What can I do? I don't want her teeth to grow in all funny! |
I'm also new here. My roxy is the same age as your pup and she is having similar issues. Roxy's lower canines are growing inside of her baby canines which are not loose at all. I'm worried they will grow and poke the top of her mouth if you know what I mean. I really don't know too much about it but I do know that many pups will need baby teeth pulled. It's best to have it done when they fo under for spay/neuter but sometimes it needs to be done asap to avoid a bad bite. This is what I know. I'm sure there are many people here who can give you good advice based on many years of experience. |
Welcome to YorkieTalk Spiamonte. :) I agree with the above post. Do you have plans to spay your pup soon? Six months of age is typical You could bring your girl in for pre-op blood tests and have the vet take a look at her teeth to advise you on the proper course of action. |
