Innova, EVO, California Natural & Healthwise Class Action Suit Did any of you that have fed your furbutts NATURA brand dog foods receive a postcard in the mail today regarding a class action lawsuit against NATURA brand dog foods? I received one today with my claim number and password. To read more information, go to www.petproductssettlement.com. |
I got an email- I filled out and submitted the info. I have gotten many of these before from different companies, only get money about 50% of the time, maybe less. So I am not holding my breathe or anything. |
I have been feeding Innova for 5 years, and I didn't get a notice. I wouldn't send it in anyway. |

I got it too. I fed mine California Natural for years until I switched about 6 months ago. i feed the occasional wet CN. |
I don't get it. I fed Kaji Evo for a while. What's the lawsuit about? |
Does anyone know what is supposed to be wrong with the food?? I have fed Innova to Toto for a long time [vet approved it] and haven't heard anything about food quality. |
I got the post card last week and submitted the online form. I fed my dogs both EVO and California Naturals. |
I didn't read everything but I think someone said it was about them misrepresenting the ingredients. |

Thank you so much, ArmaniMan and Maximo. I'll research it further re ingredients. Someone told me a while back that Pedigree bought the company that makes Innova so I figured the formula would change but it would be a while before it did. Guess I better not wait to use up what I have. Thanks again for the information. |

I wouldn't toss out what you have. The lawsuit is more about general truth in advertising, which arguably would apply to every single dog food producer (use of marketing terms that are misleading or false). No need to panic over the ingredients. I believe their was an announced change coming. |

I received it in the mail yesterday. |
Moses has been "not" eating his Nutro Ultra...and won't eat Innova, either. So I ordered him some Fromm Chicken ala Veg online, but have been freaked out coz he won't eat. So he and I took a little trip to a pet boutique here in town. I told them what a picky little turd he is and they gave me a bunch of samples. I opened the Evo ones first, gave him a couple of Herring and Salmon kibbles and he turned his cute little nose up. I then gave him a few of the Red Meat kibbles and Eureka!! He gobbled them! So I put some more in a little bowl and he scarfed it down! Geez...after I spent about $20 including the shipping on the Fromm brand! I guess if he doesn't like Fromm, I will go get him a bag of the Evo. The manager at the store told me that if P & G changes the formula in Evo or Innova, they will discontinue carrying it. I asked her about a recall, but it must have been the lawsuit that was in the back of my mind because she said there was no recall on these brands. Anyway, I thought it was so ironic that I found something he loves after I bought the Fromm! Murphy's Law strikes again! |

Thanks for the heads up...I am mixing it with his Nutro puppy...until the Fromm gets here. At least he eating! |
The usual result of these consumer class action lawsuits is that the plaintiffs get coupons towards future purchases , but the lawyers make a ton of money. It's probably no coincidence that this suit was filed so soon after they were bought out by Mr.Deep Pockets, P&G. |
Well Mo ate his Evo for one day and barely touched his food yesterday. I really don't know what to do with this picky dog. Can't wait to get his Fromms this week. I hope it provides some stability and consistency in his diet! |

I could be wrong, but I believe this lawsuit was filed before the P&G buyout. |
