Woop woop Our little girl Gabby has refused to eat kibble for the six weeks we have been owned by her. I have been hand feeding it to her, with it being left out hoping she would eat it on her own. We have tried all sorts of food, all high quality. It has been a battle of wills with her winning. This morning she walked over to her dish and actually ate a few pieces without any incouragement. Do I dare hope we have turned a corner? I choose to claim this small victory and thank you all for the advise:D |
Sounds like maybe you're on the right track. Be careful in hand feeding her though, when you do that she'll expect and want that instead of eating out of the bowl. To me it seems like the more they are catered to, the more picky they get. |
Good to hear. All of mine were on canned until a year or so ago. I was taking a few small trips and my dtr was staying with them and I wanted it to be easier on her so I gradually switched them to kibble. It took awhile to find one they all would eat but I just kept trying. |
