Flat out disguested... I went to the pet food place and was about to pick up some food for Gizmo and Maizey, when I was told that Innova was bought out by Proctor and Gamble. I was mad. Granted I switch Gizmo back and fourth between foods so he doesn't get bored, I couldn't believe it that another food sold itself out. Be prepared, Innova will probably be avalible soon have on Walmart shelves everywhere. I'm starting to transition Gizmo over to Canidae Pure Sky. So any YTers who have their be babies on Innova, be prepared to switch. |
ugh!!! |
That sucks! |
I switched to Welliness sometime ago but we had to buy Innovia through a speciality store. Welliness too. So, we bought a couple of cans of Innovia the other day since Petsmart started carrying it. I did not know PG bought them out. Mine refused to eat it. Before they all liked it. It must have changed too because even my little Dudley turned his nose up. If things keep going like they have in the past we will have to cook for them. Whats bad, is even some of our foods are toxic. Makes you wonder whats next. |
I had my cat on California Natural- I switched her months ago, as soon as I found out about the buyout. |
The buyout happened over a year ago, I believe. But yeah it sucks. |
Shows you were I've been. Apparently I'm a little slow. The people at the pet store were angry too. Thankfully, the bag I bought and was feeding Gizmo was still their old inventory. |
Yes. That was over a year ago. Between the change in formulas of trusted foods, consumer complaints, and finding something your dog actually likes to eat, buying dog food is hard work! ZoE is now on Blue Buffalo thanks to my Mum buying a big bag for her fur grandbaby :p. She seems to enjoy it. Thankfully, she's not at all a picky eater. (***regarding a big bag of food, if you store it in other containers always rememember to record the product name, size bag and best buy dates on the storage container in case of recall.) |
