Afraid she might be sick I just brought Susie home 4 days ago and she was doing just fine until yesterday and then her stools got realllllll soft I haven't changed her diet or any thing she is on canned and hard food mixed together with water she just seems like she doesn't feel well is this normal when you first bring them home yesterday she was so full of vim and viger now just wants to stay in bed  |
I would take her to the vet,and take a stool sample. It could be cocycidia. Cali had it when I first got her, the signs are diarrhea and lethargy. They gave her a medicine to help her but said it would go away as she got stronger, and it went away. Good luck! |
Rowdy got diarrhea and was very lethargic a few days after we got him. We took him to the vet right away and he didn't have anything the vet could diagnose - but he gave him a shot and some antidiarrhea pills and the next day, Rowdy was as good as new. Since then we've been to the vet again for GI upset (Rowdy is 9 months old now) and he does have a pretty sensitive GI tract - we have to watch him pretty closely - he is prone to vomiting and diarrhea. Fortunately, it always resolves, except for the 2 times we went to the vet, it presisted. |
