Keno does not like his Blue I switched Keno from Royal Canin to Blue about a month ago. Well at first he ate it fine, now he hates it. Now what, he does eat after a while but not with any gusto. Any suggestions for a food that Yorkies like.:aimeeyork:confused: |
You might consider trying Nature's Variety. Our dogs love it and have been eating it since they were puppies. A co-worker had a dog that didn't care much for any food he tried, but when he tried Nature's Variety his dog loved it and has eaten well ever since. He's very happy with it. You can go on Nature's Variety website and get a "try it" coupon too. |
give Nature's Variety at try, they seem to like it i think because of the freeze dried coating. The other one I found that Alice and my "kibble picky" Akita like is Orijen. Alice does the same darn thing to me though too, she'll eat it fine, but then gets bored with it after a few days, so since she has a good stomach (same with the Akita) I keep the Nature's Variety and Orijen on hand and switch it every 3 days or so. If I give either one of them the same food for more than a week, they will only pick at it, then I have to make sure my scavenger beagle lol doesn't get it, so I do what I have to to get them to eat normaly. I also get a differnt flavor in the NV every time I get a new bag so that changes it up and keeps them eating better too. If he liked the Blue, keep that but find another one he likes also and rotate them:) You can try canned food mixed in also, Alice really likes Evenger's (I have to change the flavor with that each new can for her too though:rolleyes:) |
Taycie does this alot lately. The minute I would put her food in her bowl she would go right to it and crunch away but in the last month, she will take a few bites of it and then come back to it. Sometimes to change things up I will add her food in her Kong. She loves this! I will mix in a Tblspoon of wet/canned food in with her kibble. That will really make her chow down! Today, I just ordered Ice Pups from The Honest Kitchen. Basically it makes a broth that you can serve warm or cold or freeze in Ice Cube trays and give them as treats. We will see how she likes it!
