Teething... What do you give? Lulu is teething, and one of her molars fell out about 10 minutes ago. She started playing with a mini tennis ball toy, but wasn't biting down on it like she normally does. I noticed there was a little bit of blood on the toy. I think it might be bothering her. What can i give her to maybe help soothe her gums? |
There is a toy at petco I bought for Taycie called a Chilly bone. You wet it down and freeze it. She loved chewing on this and it helped her little mouth. Multipet Chilly Bone Super Soft Canvas Dog Toy at PETCO |
I googled a little and found this.. Ingredient wise it looks safe. I would be interested to see if it helps. PupTeeth Granules? - Soothe Kittens & Puppies During Normal Teething It does seem a little expensive, you might try and google it or try amazon to see if you could find it cheaper.. |
I did this for both Max & Mickey and they loved it: Take an older wash cloth and wet it in water. Wring out water but not to tight. Fold it on the diagonal and tie in a knot with 2 ends still long. Put in the freezer. After frozen let them chew and play with it. Repeat after thaws out. I had 2 of these in the freezer so I could rotate. |
