Determining a UTI? How do you determine if a pup has a UTI? Cha Cha seems to feel well, eats well, plays, but has, recently, started drinking alot more water (and peeing too)...No way could I "catch" a specimen, as she would run away, for sure...She goes on puddle pads and outside...I've, especially, noticed she's going more on her puddle pads, and larger amounts...She was spayed about 7 months ago, and is about 2 yrs. old...Thanks... |
Take her to a vet to be checked. I couldn't honestly give you a diagnosis for symptoms. Also, frequent drinking and urination could be other factors for a totally different cause. |
Whenever there is a change in potty habits a vet visit is in order. Excessive drinking and peeing can indicate many things besides a UTI. |

She needs to be seen. They can take the pee from her. |
