Wouldn't eat breakfast or lunch! I thought things were going so well with ziwipeak! She seemed to love t like crazy! Well last night she pooped like four time, hard and dark. Poop looked normal but goof in that much in the middle of the night is not normal for her. She's been eating ziwipeak now exclusively for about a week. This morning she wouldn't eat breakfast and now lunch! I'm so sad. Is there something I can do to make the food exciting again! The scary thing is I'm leavig on vacation for a week tomorrow and my baby will be staying at my house with my mom. I'm going to be stressing my whole trip! What is going on! Anyone feed ziwipeak and have this experience?? Thanks in advance! |
Could be that the food doesn't agree with her. What food was she eating before Ziwi Peak? |
Before Ziwipeak I was homecooking for her. A chicken and rice recipe that I got from my vet. I was adding the vitamins minerals bone meal etc. myself. It was tough measuring the supplements and I couldn't be sure that I was doing it correctly so I wanted to try something different. That's when I was recommended ziwipeak. Gradually introduced it and she loved it! But now there is some evidence she may have thrown up a few times as well : ( I went to my pet store and they suggested getting a bag of Stella and chewys dandy lamb dinner to sprinkle on the ziwipeak. I did this and she gobbled the ziwipeak right up! Gave her tiny bit of pumpkin too. Gosh maybe ziwipeak is too much on her tummy. Don't know wether to stay with it or switch again! Since we cut out the chicken she is doing really wonderful! I believe she had an allergy from the recipe I was making her. She would do this hacking sound almost everyday. I haven't heard her do it once since she's been eating ziwipeak. |
It could be that the Ziwi Peak is too rich for her. It is rather high in protein and fat. The fat percentage may be disagreeing with her tummy. I would try a similar food with lower fat content. |
