Can food affect behavior? On occasion I will get a bag of Natural Balance for the dogs. This last round of it, I have noticed Nick (3 year old yorkie) not acting himself. He is in a constatnt state of anxiety. He barks and whines at the TV, celing fans, husband standing in kitchen - has never done this before. He also can't get settled. He has always been high strung but could settle down on our laps and rest. Lately, he hasn't been settled at all. Plus, he's started having accidents all over the house. He pee'd on the bed, in the hallway, pooped in the basement. Its like he's a completly different dog. The only reason I'm considering his food is its the only thing I can think of that has changed. We usually do 5 bags Evanger's, 1 bag Natural Balance. Has anyone else had any experience with food doing this to their dog? |
I haven't experienced this at all. I am sorry. I will try bumping this for you to see if anyone else knows. Best of luck. |
