ok guys, Dollar was originally eating wet food that is perscription...I want him off of that. I need to know what food to buy. i was trying to switch him to Hills science diet...but that stuff gets old and i odnt think he likes it. I hate to keep changing his food. What is good and what do your pups like. i want something that is good quailty...but not super expensive....

when can i take him off wet and switch to dry? What is chicken soup?

Chicken soup is a good brand for hard they have it at pets supplies plus. My dogs have been eating Royal Canin but I have noticed some itching so I am switching to chicken soup. I give my dogs Lil caesars for moist. It isnt high quality but they love it. They have real good flavors like filet mignon and porterhouse. I used to give them the science diet and they hated it. Before that they were on the prescription food like your dog.

I mix up a teaspoon of Lil' Ceasar wet dog food with the dry kibble and a lil warm water for Sango sometimes.

ok this is good...i will get lil ceasers.....and try the chicken soup! Eubanicka (sp?) but i have heard not to use that!

The little caesars is easy to find the sell it at the grocery store, super kmarts and super walmarts and meijers

Oh, yeah! Muffin loved to see some Little Cesar's in her plate! Kacee loves it, too! :D Muffin's fav was Filet Mignon. Kacee seems to prefer the Porterhouse Steak and Filet Mignon, but she'll eat some of the others, too. :rolleyes:

If you cant find the chicken soup (we only have one place thaat sells it by me) Wellness, Innova, Canidae, natural balance and Nutro are also good brands of hard food. The natural balance meat rolls are good too.

Yes!! You cant get it at petco or petsmart. Pet supplies plus has it and some pet stores. We have a pet supplies plus but each one carries different things so I am hoping ours carry it. My dogs have been on Royal canin and they are itching. But the good thing about it was I could get it at petco.

you can order it online but the shipping is double what the dog food costs. I finally found some at IncrediPet. They are a national chain like petsmart. You can go to the Chicken Soup website and find a location near you but get the number and call ahead. I was out all day trying to find it but none of the stores listed sold it.

I feed mine Innova and he likes it. Once every 2 weeks, I cook him half a hard boiled eggs. I also give him dried salmon, celery, apple, pear, carrots as snacks.

wow....i think all I know if is PetsMart,.....I dont think there is a place near here of anything else.
