I really need your input since this item is not refundable.. |
Honestly I wouldn't buy any type of store made toilet, it's a waste... check out this post http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/tra...while-ago.html it is the system I use, there are descriptions on how to make one and it only cost me like $30 total, including the clamps (which were like $15), and the only reason the rubber mats are $10 is because you have to buy them in a pack of 10, so you have replacements for life essentially. How much is this toilet you're looking at? |
oh and the clamps are there just because my little critter has figured out how to chew on the mats and get to the paper, thus leaving me with a shredded mess. So with the clamps, he leaves it alone completely. |
I wish you better luck than I had with it. I wasted 60 bucks because Roxie would have nothing to do with it. I thought it would be a nice option on rainy or snowy days, but she is outdoor trained and no matter how I tried I couldn't get her to potty on the fake grass. :( |
I litter trained my Scoobers he just ate potty pads and I wasn't about to spend a couple hundred on a fake grass system. A regular cat litter box with corn litter. Later I found he was allergic to corn so we went back to potty pads in the litter box he went into the bathroom to do his business later he outgrew the box and went outside and now we have a large yard for him to use and he's over his issue with rain anyways. Just a note dogs that use grass, litter boxes, etc don't leave the pooh in there! Remove it immediately and flush it-they won't go in the same spot if they will risk getting pooh on their feet a clumping litter is nice also I really recommended the corn litter and would have loved to have kept using it... |
