Vomited Yellow/Eggo? That's what Tommy threw up today. Not real Eggo, but it was like that liquid egg consistency. I called the Vet and she said he just may have an upset tummy and to watch out if he is lethargic. He seems ok now (he vomited 3x) and has eating. He's laying around right now. What caused this? He's been with me 4 days now, and eats the exact same thing every day. Am I freaking out for nothing? Someone tell me I am please  |
How old is he and how many times a day do you feed him? Sometimes a pup will vomit bile if their tummy is empty, usually first thing in the morning. If that's the case, feed him a snack or small meal at night closer to bedtime.... |
vomiting puppy I agree with the first post. If Belle doesn't eat very soon after waking up she vomits bile also. I feed her a little extra before she goes to bed at night and make sure to feed her within about 20 minutes of waking in the morning. Sometimes she vomits a couple times but then soon she will eat and be fine. I don't think you have anything to worry about. |
How's he been since this happened? Has he been eating well today? |
Thanks everyone. He was fine. He ate all of his food today. No more sickness that I saw..though he kinda kept his distance from me somewhat today. He is about 5-7 y/o. I think that was my issue. I took him around 9am (usually I take him to potty around 7am) to go potty, then when we returned home I fixed his food. Next time, I'll feed him before heading out. Just so he has something on his belly. Thanks all. I'm learning more each day! |
Glad to hear he's feeling better! :) |
